Summer 2023

 

Michelle is getting ‘Silly’ this Summer in the production of Beauty and the Beast at the Summer Theatre of New Canaan. She is excited to bring the magic of this beautiful story!

 

Fall 2022

 

This past Fall, Michelle had the pleasure of working at ACT of CT on their production of Guys and Dolls. It was an incredible experience to be part of an intimate and immersive theatre and have the opportunity to perform this classic score of unforgettable songs!

 

SUMMER 2022

 

Michelle spent this past summer rockin’ out at The Arts Center of Coastal Carolina, in their production of Rock of Ages. Who knew she would fall in love with a show full of poop jokes and Whitesnake songs!

 

2021-present

 

Michelle is thrilled to be a part of the Applause Dance & Theatre faculty in NYC.  Dance and theatre have always been two major pillars of Michelle’s artistic life.  As she leaps back to teaching, her love for working with children as well as her passion for choreography and storytelling, is sure to be seen in class and onstage.  Michelle hopes to inspire and pass down her profound love of dancing and performing to all her students. 

 

FALL 2021

 

In the Fall of 2021, Michelle had the honor to work at the New 42nd St. Studios on a new workshop, Americano!  Gaining experience from a workshop environment and process is something Michelle found very rewarding and valuable.  She was honored to have been on the ride, as Americano! debuted in the Spring of 2022 at New World Stages.

 

Fall 2021

 

In the Fall of 2021 and nearly two years of no performances due to Covid-19, Michelle landed her first gig back in NYC. She was part of New York City Children’s Theatre Company and their production of Storyland Cabaret, which celebrated 25 years of what the company offers children in the city.  NYCCT brought performances featuring songs from hit and upcoming productions to all five boroughs of NYC.

 

pandemic 2019 - present

 

As Covid-19 impacted performing in NYC, Michelle took the opportunity to move home to NJ to continue her passion for dancing and teaching.  She became a teacher/choreographer at Jazz Unlimited Studio of Dance Arts, her childhood home studio that helped shape who she is today.  Michelle shared her love of dance and performance with her students every day, as she came full circle at ‘JU’ from student to teacher.  As time permits, Michelle loves coming back to Jazz Unlimted to be a guest teacher/choreographer.

 

fall/winter 2019

 

Michelle spent the 2019 holiday and winter season with The Engeman Theatre. Performing in the holiday production of Matilda the Musical, Michelle enjoyed the cheerful holiday hospitality of Northport (Long Island), New York.

 

SUMMER 2019

 

Michelle spent the Summer of 2019 in Lexington, Kentucky. She performed in both productions of West Side Story and Newsies. She was thrilled to visit Kentucky for the first time and be a part of the Lex!

 

winter/spring 2019

 

Michelle spent her last semester at Syracuse University in NYC with the ‘Tepper Semester’. This incredible program affiliated with Syracuse allowed Michelle to live and study in NYC with a faculty of industry professionals.

 

winter 2018

 

In the Winter of 2018, Michelle spread her holiday cheer and performed in Syracuse Stage’s production of Elf: The Musical. The Department of Drama at Syracuse University shares their theatre complex and has a special affiliation with Syracuse Stage.

 

SUMMER 2018

 

In the Summer of 2018, Michelle was part of the Glimmerglass Festival in Cooperstown, New York. She performed in the production of West Side Story, as well as in the opera, The Cunning Little Vixen.
